What makes us “us” and how does that change when someone new joins the group?

I illustrated a children book written by Venezuelan born Icelandic author Helen Cova.

VIÐ is a book with an important message about acceptance, courage and the richness that comes with living in an increasingly multicultural society. VIÐ deals with issues of immigration and Icelandic as a second language through the experiences of three girls who have grown up together and a new girl one who shows up at their school.
